After dinner we will have pictures, white elephant auction and fellowship. We are doing a white elephant auction to raise money for this event. Please bring a clean used or new item wrapped in any manner (newspaper, paper bag or wrapping paper). It can be a serious or joke gift and a note may be attached to hint and entice the bidders to bid more without revealing the gift! You are not required to bring a gift to participate, anyone can bid

Who: All Santa’s, Mrs. Claus and Santa helpers!

Bring your Christmas items to sell! We will have a vendor area!

Sunday June 15 at 9:00 am, we will gather at John and Kelly’s for breakfast (pancakes and sausage). Around 10:30 am we will hit the road for a field trip to Frankenmuth, Michigan! It is only a 90 minute drive where we plan to meet at noon at the world’s largest Christmas store, Bronners (http://www.bronners.com/). For those that do not want to visit Bronners, you can also enjoy Frankenmuth’s Bavarian Festival Parade! We will then gather for dinner at 3:00 p.m. at Zehnders (http://www.zehnders.com/). You will be able to order off the menu and pay separate checks (gratuity might be added because of the large group). Please let us know if you plan to attend as we do like to make reservations.

RSVP’s are appreciated but not required. It helps us plan on how much food to prepare, but we always have plenty!

We do have one hotel in town for which the information is below. If you prefer other hotel chains, most hotels in the Lansing area are only thirty minutes away. Let me know if you have any special requests, and I can help you find what you are looking for.

Area Hotel:
American Heritage Inn
1681 E. Grand River Avenue
Portland, MI 48875

Do children or little family members attend this event? we have a 7 year old granddaughter staying a week with us.

BTW I drove thru Frankenmuth yesterday and the south bound lanes just south of Zehnders is closed for repaving. Sure hop they have it done by our weekend as that is their week long Festival for the whole city. I think they would have it ready but thought I should say something in case you plain on using that road.
